general info
We are a writing and interaction driven supernatural gpsl set in denver, Colorado! Our goal is to nurture our members' creativity by providing a safe and fun home where they can explore all of their greatest supernatural related ideas. Have a man-eating witch on the backburner or an alien spy working in retail as their undercover persona? Bring them on over!

The same applies here as does every other comm: no ic/ooc blurring, treat others respectfully, no harassment of any kind (doing so will lead to your immediate removal), don't plagiarize, and do not assume that because a character is one way that the writer is that way too. Everyone's here to have a good time, so while drama in character is expected, that's where we want to keep it.

we are not accepting applications for humans at this time. this may change in the future, but we hope to establish the supernatural aspect of our gpsl before bringing them in.

applying
Applying is pretty basic here. You need an ic journal (no extra letters, numbers, or underscores), a cleared flist, backdated ic and ooc contact posts, and a few basic details about your character. Just something to touch on your concept briefly—name, age, occupation, etc are more than enough! We're not going to ask for biographies or blurbs and hope that this streamline process can help you get right into interacting and writing.

In reviewing applications we be paying close attention to your examples, so be sure to provide us with your best! We ask for a minimum of two scenes (with multiple replies) and a narrative. If your application is deleted it could be because you didn't provide something we required or we didn't think your examples showed you're a good fit for the community, in any other circumstance we'll comment you to fix your application. Otherwise we won't be answering questions about rejections.

Upon acceptance, please post an introduction to beings within 72 hours. Failure to do so will result in removal from the comm.

activity requirements
We will be running Activity Checks at the end of every month. All members are required to submit their own activity here to ensure that it has been seen and checked off—while we may check ourselves on the occasion we highly suggest you do not depend on this possibility! We may miss something and it could result in your removal, so just drop off the links to cut through the middle man.

We expect to see:
one written update that is reflective of your character's journey. Creative updates may be allowed if there is some manner of a written element to it. Even posting a finished scene to the fp counts for both you and your writing partner! Things such as basic Instagram posts, however, do not.

One post to our subcomm with most of the comments replied to! This does not mean you can reply to each comment once and then bounce, we want to see actual conversations taking place.
please note that posting the above requirements last minute is highly discouraged! if we find that you are waiting until the last week to meet either or both requirements for three consecutive months it may result in your removal! we understand that life comes first and that sometimes it can get hectic, but we do not want to see a pile up of posts and updates done last the last minute simply to get by.
